CALI This exercise is designed for use in conjunction with any Federal Jurisdiction, Federal Courts, or Criminal Procedure course that covers federal habeas corpus law. No substantive knowledge of criminal procedure is required to complete the exercise. The exercise takes the student through a single prisoner’s attempts to gain federal habeas review of a state criminal conviction for bank robbery. It is designed primarily to test the student’s ability to use the substantive rules that determine whether a federal court may entertain a state prisoner’s habeas petition. fedc01 |
